Days 01-03 Lagoon Camp, Kwando Reserve

On arrival in Maun, you will board a light aircraft flight to the far north of Botswana, and the private huge Kwando Reserve. Kwando Lagoon Camp is located in the wild Kwando River which forms part of the southern border of the Zambezi Region of Namibia. Lagoon Camp lies in a dense riverine forest and is home to a wide variety of birdlife and mammals. Hippos can be spotted right from camp and in the drier months, huge herds of buffalo are found in this region.

Resident predators include lions and leopards, as well as a resident wild dog pack. Cheetah is also seen in this part of Botswana.  Activities include day and night drives, sunset river cruises and walks.

Lagoon Camp has spacious tents elevated on decks to provide incredible views over the Kwando River. Each tent has large windows and the bathroom boasts the same views. The main area has a splash pool, outdoor dining, bar and viewing deck area.

Days 03-05 Lebala Camp, Kwando Reserve

After breakfast, you will embark on a game drive through the vast Kwando Reserve to Kwando Lebala Camp. Lebala Camp is located on the floodplains of the Kwando River. This area is home to a plethora of game, including plains game like zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and tsessebe. A high concentration of elephants can be found in the area and predators abound. Lions, cheetah, hyena and even, if lucky, the African wild dog can be spotted. Lebala offers game drives and walking safaris.

Each of the en suite safari tents boats outside showers and large net walls, which allow the cooling breezes through. Each tent has a viewing deck that overlooks the surrounding bush and floodplains. The main area has a pool and a fire pit area, as well as a dining room and bar.

Days 05-08 Splash Camp, Kwara Concession

You will board a light aircraft flight and fly south to the Kwara Concession, deep in the Okavango Delta. This water paradise is home to Splash Camp, located on the Kwara River.
