Luxury Linyanti, Khwai & Okavango Safari rates 2024
This trip starts in Kasane and ends in the town of Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The rate is per person sharing and includes 8 nights of accommodation, all meals, all game activities (water level permitting), all local drinks and park fees.
A note about water levels in the Okavango Delta – The main water source for the waterways and lagoons of the Okavango Delta comes from the Angolan highlands. This flood water starts arriving in the main Delta area in April or May. Parts of the Delta will dry up, making water activities impossible. It does however create an incredible game-watching opportunity. This safari is outstanding throughout the year.

Day by Day itinerary
Days 1 to 4: African Bush Camps Linyanti Bush Camp, Linyanti Chobe
Depart from Kasane Airport on a fixed wing charter flight to the Linyanti section of the Chobe National Park, located along the border with Namibia. When you land at the airstrip, a guide will be waiting for you and your game viewing starts with the transfer to camp.
Nestled within the Chobe Enclave, Linyanti Bush Camp is situated on the banks of Linyanti Marsh in a private reserve which borders the western boundary of Chobe. The marshes are the only water source for miles around and attract water-adapted and desert-adapted wildlife, plus large numbers of birds.
Linyanti is best known for its large populations of Elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers especially during the dry season. Other wildlife encounters include Lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, the rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile, as well as other species of plains game. The area also offers spectacular birding all year round. The area’s relative remoteness makes it a favoured wild safari destination and one of the best sought after areas in Northern Botswana
Linyanti Bush Camp beckons adventurers seeking an authentic safari experience in the heart of the African wilderness. Savour the raw beauty of the surroundings through thrilling game drives, enlightening walking safaris, or serene mokoro rides along the waterways.
Linyanti Bush Camp promises exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round. Prepare to be captivated by the untamed allure of this enchanting safari haven. With only six luxurious tents, this intimate Chobe safari retreat offers a unique blend of tranquillity and adventure. Each Luxury tent has comfortable Twin / Double beds, en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, fixed showers and running water.
Nearby Linyanti Ebony camp has a family tent and is excellent for small family groups travelling together.
Days 04 to 07 – African Bush Camps Khwai Lediba, Khwai
After your last game drive and breakfast, you will board a small aircraft for a flight to Khwai. Your guide from Khwai Lediba will be waiting and you will spend 3 nights at this intimate camp. Situated along the picturesque Khwai River in the Khwai Concession of Botswana, this luxury tented safari camp invites you to immerse yourself in the wonders of the Khwai Community Concession and the Moremi National Park, the oldest protected sector of the Okavango Delta. Picture lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes freely traversing their natural habitat, surrounded by the breath taking beauty of the African wilderness.
Watch the magic of Africa unfold from the sanctuary of your tent, tucked under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. This river is all that separates the iconic Moremi Game Reserve and the concession, with hippos, elephants and even lions crossing over from time to time.
The central camp includes a pool, dining area with an open kitchen, and bar with a sunken lounge. Meals, cocktails, and bubbly will be served indoors or al fresco on a deck surrounded by sycamore and leadwood trees with stunning views across the river.
Activities at the camp include morning, afternoon, and night game drives, as well as walking and mokoro safaris (depending on water levels). The camp also offers the opportunity to visit the nearby Khwai village preschool as part of the African Bush Camps Foundation’s community empowerment projects.
Each of the double rooms has an en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a private deck, luxurious bedding, and more.
Nearby Khwai Leadwood Camp has family tents and accepts children from a younger age.
Days 07 to 10 – African Bush Camps Atzaro Okavango, Okavango Delta
Strap in, Atzaro Okavango is only accessible by a scenic helicopter ride! A helicopter will collect you from Khwai and take you to your third and final camp for three nights.
Atzaro Okavango lies in the game-rich southern reaches of the Okavango Delta and offers Eco-Friendly Elegance in the Heart of the Delta. Enveloped by verdant palm islands and vibrant delta flora, this eco-friendly oasis seamlessly blends with the breathtaking World Heritage wilderness that surrounds it. Overlooking a pretty lagoon, and a river flowing alongside the camp, this area of the Okavango has high concentrations of game making for exciting game viewing, including elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, giraffes, lechwes, and hippos.
Atzaro Okavango has been created with eco-principles and was built with recycled materials and is fully solar powered. The Main areas offer incredible views with numerous dining areas including the outdoor boma area.
Pamper yourself at the on-site wellness spa, stay active in our fully equipped gym, or enjoy a refreshing dip in their expansive 20-meter pool. Each sumptuous tent features air-conditioning, private plunge pools, and Wi-Fi, ensuring a seamless fusion of modern amenities with the serenity of the African wilderness.
After three nights you will be transported by helicopter to Maun Airport for onward travel.
