This 6-night safari explores 3 gorgeous locations within the Delta. Start in the Moremi National Park on the banks of the Xakanaxa Lagoon, before flying to the South-Eastern Okavango Delta to a water paradise. End your safari at a game-rich, very picturesque camp located on a private concession just north of the Moremi. Game drives on this safari host just 4 guests at a time, ensuring you will always have a window seat to the action.

This is a luxury fly-in safari, which means that all connections between safari camps are with light aircraft and starts and ends in Maun.

Rates are per person sharing, assumed with 2 people per room. Rates are fully inclusive of accommodation, conservation levy, scheduled wildlife activities, meals, laundry, selected
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and return airstrip road transfers. All charter flights to and from Maun are included.

Day by Day itinerary

Days 1 to 3 – Okuti Camp, Moremi National Park

On arrival in Maun, you will board a light aircraft flight into the Moremi and the Okavango Delta. You will spend 2 nights at the uniquely styled Okuti Camp which overlooks the Xakanaxa Lagoon. Each luxury private chalet has a deck and ensuite facilities complete with an outdoor shower.

Enjoy game drives through the picturesque Moremi in search of lion, leopard, elephant and much more.

Days 3 to 5 – Kanana Camp, Okavango Delta

Kanana Camp is in the southwest section of the Okavango Delta on the edge of a permanent channel of water. This area of the Okavango is particularly beautiful and offers a diverse range of activities. Enjoy game drives, boat cruises and mokoro rides. There is a plethora of birdlife to be found in this area, including an interesting heronry and the Pel’s Fishing Owl, a lifer on many a twitchers list.

Each spacious safari tent has an outdoor shower and a private deck area overlooking the floodplains. The intrepid can sleep under the stars on the sleepout deck.

Days 5 to 7 – Shinde Camp, Okavango Delta

The last stop on this Okavango Delta Safari is 2 nights at Shinde Camp, located in a private concession, just north of the Moremi Game Reserve. Fully renovated in 2020, Shinde camp offers a luxury safari in a wonderfully rich environment overlooking the Shinde Lagoon. Game viewing is particularly wonderful in this part of the world. Enjoy day and night game drives, bush walks, motorised boating and mokoro trips. Due to its location on a private concession, night drives and bush walks are offered and conducted by knowledgeable guides. Shinde is one of the camps where you can enjoy water-based activities all year round.

Each tent is spacious and luxurious, with ensuite facilities and an outdoor shower. The private decks have a day bed to while away the afternoon watching the lagoon.
