KRUGER PARK SAFARIS

Kruger Park Safaris will suit all travellers, from first-time safari-goers, family safaris, intrepid self-drivers, honeymoon and romantic getaways, those that want private plunge pools with silver service, and the active traveller who wants a walking safari. There are numerous options across the safari lodges and camps which are found in the private reserves that make up the Greater Kruger Park. These safari lodges range from eco-friendly tented safari camps to award-winning uber-luxe safari lodges.

Game viewing is incredible in these private reserves made even more memorable by the lodge staff and your guiding team. A private Kruger Park Safari Lodge guiding team is generally a guide and a tracker. Your guide makes the surrounding bush come alive, pointing out not only the Big 5 but so much more. Learn about the smaller species like the dung beetle and elephant shrew, about the difference between the black and white rhinos, which antelope are endangered and much more. Kruger Park Safaris create experiences and make memories to last a lifetime.

GREATER KRUGER PARK PRIVATE RESERVES

Stretching along South Africa’s border with Mozambique, the Kruger National Park and all the private game reserves along the park’s border make up the Greater Kruger Park ecosphere. These incredible private reserves include the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Timbavati Private Game Reserve, Manyeleti Game Reserve, Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, Balule Game Reserve, and Thornybush Game Reserve. Within the Kruger National Park are a handful of private concessions. These Kruger Private Concessions are land leased for tourism, with luxury lodges and camps. All are allowed to traverse not only their concession but the surrounding Kruger National Park.

Most private reserves have dropped their fences with each other and with the Kruger National Park. Neighbouring Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe and Mozambique’s Limpopo National Park do not have fences either to the Kruger National Park. This massive area is the formidable Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park. Transfrontier parks allow for greater freedom of movement for wildlife to maintain their ancient migration paths.
